Welcome to maN Nilam ("App", "Platform", "we", "us", or "our"), owned and operated by MAN NILAM TECH & SRI SHANMUGA SUREN PROMOTERS (GST No: 33KUBPS3662D1ZK), Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India.

1. Introduction & Statutory Compliance

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, process, store, and protect your personal information across Android and iOS devices. By accessing or using the App, you explicitly consent to the practices described in this policy.

2. Information We Collect

• Account & Profile Data: Valid Indian mobile number (OTP verified via Firebase Auth), full name, email address (optional), profile picture, user classification (Buyer, Seller, Agent, Broker, Builder, Investor), and an automated Customer ID (MNL-2026-XXXX).
• Business Information (Brokers/Agents): Company name, GST number, RERA registration numbers, and years of experience.
• Property Listings & Media: Land extent (Cents, Acres, Sq.Ft), survey numbers, patta details, boundaries, pricing, photos, video tour URLs, layout sketches, and property document scans.
• Geolocation Data: Foreground GPS coordinates (only when permitted) to display nearby lands on Google Maps.
• Financial & Loan Assistance Data: Requested loan amount, preferred bank, property ownership status, and preferred callback time.
• PropTech & JV Proposals: Land maintenance requirements, NRI property care details, JV investment budgets, and developer ratios.
• Device Diagnostics: Device model, OS version, IP address, Firebase Crashlytics logs, and push notification tokens (FCM/APNs).

3. Device Permissions & Purpose Transparency

• 📍 Location (ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION / iOS NSLocationWhenInUseUsageDescription): Used in the foreground only to show nearby plots on Google Maps and calculate driving distances. We NEVER track location in the background without active app interaction.
• 📸 Camera (CAMERA / iOS NSCameraUsageDescription): Used solely to capture and upload property photos, video tours, JV blueprints, or profile pictures.
• 🖼️ Photo Library & Media (READ_MEDIA_IMAGES / iOS NSPhotoLibraryUsageDescription): Used to upload property photos, video walkthroughs, and Patta/EC documents from your gallery.
• 🔔 Push Notifications (POST_NOTIFICATIONS / iOS UserNotifications): Delivers instant alerts for buyer inquiries, chat messages, ad approvals, and loan/service status updates.
• 📁 Storage & Files: Used to download property PDF brochures, guideline value certificates, and receipts.

4. AI Real Estate Assistant & Ephemeral Processing

maN Nilam integrates Google Gemini AI API to provide intelligent property valuation estimates, Tamil/English voice summaries, and EMI calculation assistance. All AI prompts are transmitted over encrypted HTTPS channels. Your private phone number, documents, and identity are NEVER used to train public commercial AI models.

5. Financial Services, Loan Assistance & JV Data Handling

maN Nilam is NOT a bank, Non-Banking Financial Company (NBFC), or direct lender. Loan requests are transmitted securely to authorized Indian banking partners only upon explicit user submission. Joint Venture (JV) proposals are handled with strict commercial confidentiality.

6. Third-Party Services & Infrastructure Providers

• Google Firebase: Secure User Authentication, Cloud Firestore Database, Storage, and Messaging (FCM).
• Google Maps Platform: Geospatial rendering and satellite land boundary display.
• Google Cloud Gemini AI: Smart property search and automated valuation summaries.
• YouTube API: Video player embeds for property walkthroughs.
• We do NOT use any third-party advertising SDKs (AdMob, Facebook Ads, etc.). We do NOT serve third-party ads.

7. Data Storage, Security & Encryption

• In Transit: All communications between the mobile app and our backend servers use TLS 1.3 / HTTPS encryption.
• At Rest: All data stored in Google Cloud Firestore and Firebase Storage is encrypted using AES-256 standards.
• Access Control: Firestore Security Rules strictly restrict access to user data.

8. Data Sharing & Disclosure (Strict No-Sale Policy)

We strictly maintain a NO-SALE Policy. We NEVER sell, monetize, or rent your personal information to third-party data brokers or marketing agencies. Contact information is shared only between buyers and sellers to enable direct property communication upon user inquiry.

9. Data Retention Policy

• Active account data is retained while your account remains active.
• Deleted or unlisted ads are permanently erased after 30 days.
• Temporary cached audio and media files expire automatically after 14 days.

10. Your Rights Under DPDP Act 2023

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you have the right to access, review, correct, download, or request complete erasure of your personal data at any time.

11. Children's Privacy (Strictly 18+)

maN Nilam is intended exclusively for individuals aged 18 and older. We do NOT knowingly collect data from minors under 18.

12. Location Data Transparency

Location access is requested at runtime with clear purpose explanations. You may revoke location access at any time in device Settings; map browsing will remain available using manual district filters.

13. Complete Account & Data Deletion (One-Click In-App & Web)

You have full ownership of your data. In compliance with Apple and Google deletion mandates, you can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time:

• In-App: Navigate to Profile / Settings > Account Settings > Delete Account.
• Web Request: Visit our Account & Data Deletion Portal to initiate an immediate deletion request.
• By Email: Send a deletion request to support@mannilam.com with your registered mobile number.

Upon deletion, all your listings, chat logs, customer ID associations, and profile details are permanently wiped from our live Firestore databases.

14. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may periodically update this Privacy Policy. Significant updates will be notified via in-app banner or push notification.
